Introduction:
There are about 53,000 records of data at present.
The data are about electron impact excitation of Ni-like, Ne-like, C-like,
O-like, N-like, Be-like, He-like and H-like ions.
For these data each record includes the following parts:
target particle,
initial degree of ionization,
initial configuration,
final
configuration,
the notation of energy level for initial and final state,
the
fitting formula,
the output form of the physical quantity, data type,
the precision of the data,
method by which the data are obtained,
the threshold energy( in unit of eV),
serial number of the relevant data and reference.
The information of the term and total angular momentum of the state is presented
about the configuration. Sometimes the symbol G is used to represent the ground state.
The output form of the physical quantity includes the list of the original data
(DP),
the display of the fit parameter (EV) and display of the figure of the original
data (FIG).
The data type includes cross section (XS)(in the unit of cm2),
rate coefficient (RC)(cm3/s) and collision strength (CS). The method
includes theory (Thr), experiment (EX) and recommendation (RE). In the
display of the results the symbol X represents the reduce energy, which is the
ratio of the kinetic energy of the incidence electron to the threshold energy.
Here T represents
the temperature of the electrons (in unit of eV).
Clicking 'Data' gives the detail result of the
record (in some cases the fitting formula is issued).
Searching can be proceeded by any composition of the five items: element, isoelectronic
sequence, initial state, final state and physical quantity selected.
Relevant functions: displaying the original data;
calculating with the fitting formula; plotting data with the original data
(under construction).
